Go with Susan Boone. She is the best. Just go and you will know what I’m talking about. She delivered my daughter in April 2019 and throughout my whole pregnancy she was just the best.

When you go for your yearly exam and they ask if you have other concerns say no, they change you for just having questions. I wanted to change my answer and the receptionist refused. I didn’t want to take another day off so I just paid it but I was not happy.

Dr. Cohen delivered my first baby at Valley Baptist and it was a horrible experience for my husband and I. After being induced at his demand because I was already 39.5 weeks, he left me with ptsd basically. He is a doctor with horrible bedside manner and temperament. He should not be a physician. On the day of induction Dr. Cohen brought in a group of student doctors to break my waters (after I had declined anyone coming into the room) He told me in front of this group of student doctors that if I “didn’t want him to break my waters (with them present), he would discharge me and I could go home and have the baby on my own” at this point I felt horribly violated spread eagle for strangers to see. He broke my water bag and left the room, the student doctors following behind him. He then ordered me to go on Pitocin to which my body didn’t respond well as it cause my blood pressure to rise dangerously high, he then instructed they gave me magnesium to counteract the high blood pressure... this in turn would stop my labor. By 18 hours in, I was begging for a c-section. He left me in the see-saw state between pitocin and magnesium for 34 hours until I seized and had to be wheeled into the OR for an emergency c-section. I wasn’t conscious when my child was born, I wasn’t able to hold them or look at them, my husband didn’t even get to go into the OR because I kept seizing over and over. My daughter was born at 4:38pm on a Friday. I finally woke up in recovery at almost 9am the following day. It is my personal opinion Dr. Cohen should not be a doctor, he not only doesn’t take the patients privacy into consideration, but he also doesn’t take their well being into consideration either. The man nearly killed me and my daughter. I never went back to his office again.
