After enduring pain, limited mobility and general misery caused by severe swelling in my knee (and at one point, my entire leg and foot) for the most part of 12 months, I decided to contact Nicola for help. I had attended numerous GP, orthopaedic surgeon and rheumatologist appointments as well as physio, one MRI and blood tests all proving that my ailment was somewhat of a 'mystery' due to the root cause being unidentified. I've known Nicola for a number of years having been treated by her before. After lengthy phone calls and various text messages I made the 2.5 hour journey to her studio for my first appointment. I'd like to state for the record that the numerous 5 hour round-trip journeys have been very much worth it! The pain has subsided to almost zero and mobility has recovered. Nicola has even managed to provoke some dormant muscles that had shut down due to my problem and 'awaken' them with the assistance of acupuncture needles and an electrical zapper! Going forward, Nicola has performed various other methods of acupuncture treatment for my problem as well as providing me with topical herbs and some (as I call it 'magic') spray liniment which has all been very successful. In short, I can't recommend Nicola enough. She is highly knowledgeable in what she does, takes pride in her work and won't rest until she feels happy that you are getting some sort of benefit from her work. My only regret is not making my initial appointment sooner. This situation is just one that demonstrates the effectiveness of traditional medicine.

Nicola is a generous and kind practitioner with a wealth of knowledge. I have been suffering from long covid symptoms for the past few months (asthma, fatigue, poor sleep and low mood) and was hoping it would resolve itself. Im quite an active and motivated person so the lingering symptoms were incredibly frustrating. When I reached out to Nicola she was incredibly helpful, and her consultation process was very detailed and thorough. Within a few days of taking the herbs she prescribed my asthma (which was bothering me daily) had subsided. It’s been a few weeks of herbs and I feel so much better because I don’t struggle with asthma, I’m sleeping better and my energy is slowly improving. I would highly recommend her expertise. Thank you Nicola!

Nicola is the ultimate professional with many years of experience. Last week I was in agony as I had put my back out so I went to Nicola for acupuncture treatment. Nicola was amazing as usual and I was able to go training on Monday without the slightest twinge. Thank you.

I asked a local Facebook group for a recommendation for a pregnancy massage / acupuncturist as the SPD pain i was experiencing was extremely painful and debilitating. Having an 18 month old to run after was not helping and the guilt I felt, not being able to even carry her was overwhelming. I was recommended to get accupuncture by Nicola Court by several locals and I can see why. I had nowhere else to turn as midwives are powerless with SPD and its essentially get on with it so I booked. Before my appointment I was told that my baby was also breech so when I had my consultation with Nicola I mentioned this. Turns out there is a something called Moxibustion that is used to get your baby to turn whereby you burn a stick on a point on your toe. To my surprise it worked! Baby was head down by 36 weeks and no need for a C section or uncomfortable intervention to turn the baby. With the SPD, even though I had suffered for so long and left it a bit late, Nicola was very sympathetic and knew she could help. Within one treatment I noticed an improvement. Nicola knew exactly where to treat my pain. I have continued the treatment throughout my pregnancy to assist with the pelvic pain and I only wish I hadn't suffered for so long. I cannot recommend Nicola enough and if you are feeling any pelvic / pregnancy related pain, please don't suffer.
