Use to be such a nice little shop. The old guy who works there in the mornings is VERY rude and obnoxious, he tried scamming me on my debit card multiple times by upping the price of things I've bought and today (the day I'm writing this review) he banned me from the shop for trying to refund something I bought that I didn't need. Everyone else who works there in the shop is lovely.

This is not Roy's, now called Katherine's mini supermarket. Very odd shop, it is the local newsagent but they will not let you buy a paper unless you buy something else, why buy something for the sake of it. I have bought items when needed but will not be held to ransom. The woman behind the counter needs to learn people skills, I do not think she is suited to retail. The odd thing they say people should support their local shop but they will not serve you.

very awful woman behind the counter, she has twice short changed my daughter the first time she gave her foreign coins mixed in with the change, then she short changed her again 2, 22/08/2016 and didn't give her a receipt for her to check the change. when me and my husband came back she said loudly I need to talk to my daughter! how rude my daughter has her own money thank you very much and she has two very hard working parents who meets all her needs, she's a good 12 year child and we have nothing but high compliments about her, to suggest she can't be trusted by a someone who don't know her is a total disgrace for corner shop staff, she obviously thinks she cannot make mistakes because she's holier than thou however she's seems to forget that she's made that mistake with me when she over charged me on the electric key then I offered to bring in the extra which I did do even though I was not obliged to do so. They have lost a very good customer.

Roy's Convenience is now \Katherine's Shopping Centre\ A once pleasant shop is now run by rude grumpy old men who hover over your shoulder. It seems to counter this they brought in a young female to man the till, how she called me back saying I over paid by 1 which I don't recall, and then next I've gone in the old man went behind the counter and said 2 Not 3, and then the girl dealt me and they made a scene she said loudly 1 POUND ! 2 POUND ! as she put money in till with him there. Awful angry mocking people. ---------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE : 5/August/2019 The old man is now pushing melted Aeros for 70p. He stopped me buying a dairy milk saying no no these melted are cheap and I said er okay and put dairy milk back but he kept dragging over those on the bench, I was like wait I'm not sure how much money I have on me, I didn't think he was going to stop. So urgency demanding 3 quid, repeating it, so I handed it and waited for receipt, he said No, finished. brushing me off with hand. Later of course it turned out he'd charged me full price for the Aeros I hadn't gone in their for. Good job I didn't go out with more money, he would have off loaded the whole pile on me.
