Really friendly atmosphere. Met all the covid guidelines regarding social distancing, very clean with hand sanitiser supplied etc. without losing any of its charm.

Myself and my husband held our wedding reception here in March last year and I cannot say enough about this place, Gary and his team went above and beyond for us, listened to what we wanted and gave us advice where needed. They even played background music for us as we arrived which wad themed to our day and we had no idea! The food was lovely and plentiful. They even held on to a couple of glasses we accidently left for us to pick up. Would use again in a heartbeat.

What a fantastic place; every time I've been here it's been such s good night. Gary, the landlord is a lovely guy and brings out free snacks like pizza. Kris, who does some of the open mic nights, is always helpful and accomodating for any new performers who want to have a go and it's just a great crowd - you can't go wrong.

Pretty dead for a Monday Bank holiday, which I guess isn't too bad having the pub to yourself. but I wonder where everyone is? it used to be thriving quite a lot of the time? Times have changed. Hopefully the pub is a bit busier on Friday - Sundays?
