My daughters had fun for a few years. The recital was always top-notch; However, the owner is incredibly unprofessional and lacks empathy. She puts on a show as any theatrically-trained person can do. Apparently, she doesn't care what she sounds like to her customers. If you and your child are not in her "inner circle", you'll be brushed-off at best. Don't tick her off. She has a nasty temper and is not afraid to use it. Doesn't matter if you've been a paying customer for years. The studio is also quite dirty, especially the bathrooms. Seriously, there are other studios around. Check them out too.

Siri's has been in the business of sharing the love for the arts for 20 years now. There have been thousands of students pass through, some of which have gone into successful careers on stage, and many who have gained a lifelong appreciation and love for the arts. Siri's is a family run dance school for family's, a place where family values are encouraged and instilled. Values like respect for one another, caring, sharing, and celebrating together the love and passion for the arts. A place where everybody can dance and perform. A place where all are made to feel welcome. A place with programming, choreography, and costume choices that are age appropriate yet fun, creative, and exciting. The recitals are exceptionally produced on a professional level, with fast paced transitions between numbers, pro level sound and lighting, and a tasteful presentation. Whether you're seeking a place to prepare for a career in the arts or a place where you can find your niche, be accepted, and have a blast, this is it! No gimmicky promotional lines or training solely for competitions, but an honest and truly caring atmosphere for learning and growing.

Siri’s School is an inclusive, excellent place for kids to dance. They are taught values about friendship and teamwork, not competition. This is not a “Dance Moms” kind of studio where girls are pitted against one another or dressed in costumes inappropriate for their ages with a full face of makeup. This is a place where kids can cultivate a love of dance and have a creative outlet. I’m surprised at the negative reviews, because Siri is the kindest, most communicative owner (and we’ve danced at other places). If you are looking for a place where your child can get some physical activity and feel like a part of a team, then Siri’s school is for you!

Awful experience. Owner is a control freak who is rude and condescending. Never had that kind of experience at any other dance school or activity that I was paying for. Beware parents of young children, your child will be kept backstage for the whole recital and you will be not allowed to see them unless you sign up to be backstage, which no one tells you about until after the fact. No joke, a guard was posted at the end of the hallway to keep you from going back to check on your child. There is one 10 minute parent observation during the year, and if you can't make it that day, too bad for you. Studio 19 was away more friendly and customer friendly. Would not recommend even to my worst enemy.

We have sent our daughter to Siri's for 4 years. The apporach is much different than other studios. The children rehearse without parent observation so there is no added pressure on the child. There is a fall semester observation day and a spring semester recital which is the culminating event for the year. The entire studio is involved including Siri and teachers. I am very appreciative of the age-appropriate costumes and choreography. The teachers are excellent and caring. I love that the focus is on doing your own personal best and not better than your classmates. They also encourage a positive body image and a healthy lifestyle. These are skills that will impact the students far more than being competitive. My daughter has really started to grow in her skills and I can't wait to see where she goes from here! Also, the pricing is reasonable but note you will be responsible for paying for recital costumes and recital tickets. One of the complaints here is that Siri doesn't allow parents to see their kids in the green room during the recital. That is true, but this is also clear in the emails, recital prep conversations, and at the dress rehesrsal. This is done for the safety of the children. I'd rather limit access to the children than allow any and all parents to come and go as they wish. Could improvements be made? Perhaps. Maybe there should be a phone number left with the chaperones should the child need a parent. If the child is upset they will have a number to reach him/her. Otherwise the kids watch movies and play games while they wait for their time in the spotlight. My daughter never had issues and she has been there since she was 4.
