Computer Friendly is a non-profit organisation staffed by a team of experienced unpaid volunteer trainers. They offer drop-ins, information, advice/guidance, beginner’s and advanced classes in Tablets, Smartphones and PC Microsoft software in three locations across St Albans and Harpenden. The aim of the charity is to assist anyone in St Albans and District, including disadvantaged and excluded people in gaining valuable digital skills to keep in touch with others or use tools such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Attendees range from those who are retired, unemployed or disabled or from diverse groups.
