A great common land golf course with superb greens and a really friendly clubhouse. Always welcoming to golfers of all standards, home of the great Ken Brown who also redesigned 6 of the holes .

My husband is a member, but I don't play golf. We occasionally drop in for lunch. Nice relaxed atmosphere, quiet restaurant area. Good views of 18th hole. Varied menu and good prices for food and drink (using his bar card!) Only 4 stars given, as there are only dining chairs available, no comfy lounge chairs.
