This Sainsbury's store is really nice. The produce is great and the store is often well stocked. I like the painting outside and the carpark on the roof works really well as well. The staff are brilliant and helpful and much nicer than some of the staff in the other supermarkets in the area. The store is very well set out there is plenty of room to push around a trolley. I would definitely recommend this shop.

This Sainsbury's looks a little out dated from the entrance to me , like a older Sainsbury's a few years back. The flower display in here looks very nice but there was alot of litter on the floor as i walked around this shop, the stock on the shelves wasn't great and had a few gaps. I was suprised to see groups of 3 or more staff standing together talking and relaxing when the store needed some work. The Male toilets in here were not great ,and in need of the litter being picked up, toilet paper, but saying that it was a busy shop with lots of customers. The paintings on the outside were very nice and i enjoyed seeing these and reading the history.
A great store. The staff are very friendly and it has pretty much all that you need. Unfortunately it is a bit small and there is a limited choice. Also some items can be on the pricy side. That said, there are lots of items which are competitively priced and some cheaper than elsewhere. Harpenden actually suffers from only having high-end shops and this keeps the price up.
Staff aren't always very friendly or helpful. Small Sainsbury's but good for a small shop, usually reasonably stocked.
Nice baskets and sterling shelf stacking. I also like the beep from the checkouts. Beep
