I am extremely grateful for Dr. Mende’s expertise and swift, aggressive treatment for my eye infection/corneal ulcer. Instead of focusing on what bad habit caused the problem (sleeping in contacts) she focused on how to save my eye from the staph bacteria. It’s obvious she has seen and treated similar infections yet she didn’t make lite of the situation. THANK YOU TENNESSEE EYE CARE AND DR. MENDE!

I can't say enough good things about them! Most notably was the honesty. I had a sevier infection in my eye and treatment for such doesn't tickle in the least. Dr. Mende took one look and immediately took too saving my eye. She was 100% honest with me about it all, there was no \this will only sting a second\ like every nurse or doctor who have given me shots that hurt for days after. If it was about to hurt she let me know beforehand as honestly as she could. She also worked her schedule around to make time for my eye. It was like her priorities changed as if my eye was as important to her as it is to me. That's comforting beyond description! I will forever love this woman for the help she's provided me! To say I was in fear going in is drastically understated, my mother has lost an eye so growing up and well after adulthood that fear of such lingers. Thankfully the good Lord put outstanding caring people like Dr. Mende here for my life would've taken a turn for the worst and never turned back.

I saw Dr. Fleming and she has been the best eye care professional I have ever seen in over 50 years of life with that said the front desk area staff I dealt with seems to suffer from what alot of people suffer from today which is \I don't want to be here so go away\ so I would say this: The Dr.s are the best but the support staff needs better customer training and pride in their work....I mean it is not fast food so why act like it.
