This place was horrible and was my last resort! I took my pet in for a bulging eye and they wanted almost 700. It's hard to tell even if they gave my cat the abx and pain medication. I would think that they would have administered the medication in front of me...but they didn't. The dr was very rude to the staff also. The vet assistant didn't even know what the medications were. Very inexperienced in her job. This place is definitely over priced and the staff seems to have attitudes or they just aren't interested in doing their job. Would not recommend. Very unprofessional and ridiculously overpriced.

I had an excellent experience with this veterinarian. He is sharp and very professional. I brought my dog in for an emergency visit because he had unexpected swelling after strenuous exercise related to Lyme Disease. Within an hour we where out with pain meds and Lyme Disease Treatment. I was impressed with his bedside manner and his aggressive treatment of Lyme Disease so I do lose my dog—Pasha which would be catastrophic. I have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance to cover the 1k bill incurred but it was worth it for the news and diagnosis that was missed by routine visits at the excellent Ashby Animal. After receiving sound advice from this doctor I am choosing this emergency care center for my 1 month and 6 month follow up visits since this doctor gave me hope on treating Pasha’s Lyme. This doctor is top notch and offers value and compassionate service to our community willing to operate after hours.

A few months ago I took my 1 year old cat in for an infection in her paw. They treated her for the infection and she came home the next day. About 3 days after that I had to bring her back in because her paw started to smell horrendous. It turns out they didn’t take all of the infection out of her paw which led to a full leg amputation. After the full leg amputation and 1200 later, they sent me home with her leg after I had already paid for consumables and disposables. Then, the next weekend I had to go back to get MORE antibiotics to fight the infection I paid to get rid of. I have spoken to multiple vet offices since then and they all agreed that the incision they gave her was double the size it should have been. All around this is a terrible place and I wish I had seen the reviews before bringing her.

I am extremely pleased with the care and attention my dog received. Dr Salem has a wonderful bedside manner and was very kind with my dog. He ordered appropriate tests and quickly made a diagnosis. He kept me informed every step of the way. His assistant was very polite and professional also. The cost was fair and what I would expect to pay for an emergency vet visit. I highly recommend this emergency vet!
