A good sized pub and pleasing on the eye. Food was very nice. A bit quiet due to covid but nevertheless we enjoyed it. We definitely come back.

We came here to watch one of the world cup matches. Managed to find a nice table close to one of their screens and had a couple of pints and the sharing meat platter. It was delicious!! Service was a bit slow, but I guess they were very busy too
Absolutely amazing friendly staff, great space to be covid secure and the rules are followed properly! Looking forward to the time it re-opens to be greeted once again by Bren and all his excellent team! Keep up all the great work!
Before covid we would travel & spend several weekends in Harrogate. Always watched sport in the Alexandra, clean, friendly staff good prices & always good service. Cant wait to visit again Stay safe
Had a great Steak and Ale pie, great table service and well layed out for social distancing. There were very friendly staff too.

I've been to a lot of restaurants that serve burgers in my life, but who would've thought a pub in a quiet little town would compete with the likes of Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in Vegas. I must say Alexandra has the most tastiest burger I have ever eaten. The juicy beef is so tender it almost melts in your mouth. The bacon had no fat whatsoever and was cooked perfectly to a tee. Definitely will visit again. Highly recommend!
We ate at this pub last night, thank you, it was a pleasure. We hadn’t booked in advance but the gentleman at the door found us a super table, he explained the protocol re the social distancing and sat us at a table. The food was excellent, I had a mix of chicken, onion rings (delicious) chips and garlic bread and my husband had the Ocean fish & chips, big plates of food served hot and was very tasty, the staff were friendly and helpful.
