I received fantastic care at this hospital recently during an outpatient appointment. Prior to the appointment I was phoned by staff to go through a checklist and ensure I was fully aware of what to expect. The staff were very kind and helpful and explained all in detail. On the day, all staff were very professional and kind. Once again they asked if I had any questions. The procedure went smoothly and afterwards staff made sure I was fine to go home.

I was greatly impressed with consultant/anaesthetist partnership in full knee replacement. This was admirably supported by cheery nursing staff who were attuned to my needs. A very safe environment in comfy room. However my op was delayed by 6hrs and there was no clarity on discharge prescription costs.

I have just had a full ankle replacement at the Duchy by Mr Lavalette.. I can honestly say the whole experience from consultation to procedure has been first class .. From my visit the main thing that came over was the teamwork, from reception, to nursing care, the mealst and the pharmacy, the theatre staff, welcoming, caring, knowledgeable from them all . It would be unfair to single anyone out, because it was a team .. Thank you so much Best.... Roger
