Went to Harrogate, I was looking for a couple of small table lamps and new hinges for a toilet seat. Couldn’t find any hinges whatsoever so I looked at buying a complete toilet seat, all they had was white, nothing else and as for table lamps absolutely sod all. No wonder Amazon is flourishing!

Decent range of everyday DIY products. Similar choices in hand tools - common usage tools, though none of any really great quality. Power tool range is not great, and there's a lot of budget brand stuff which I won't even consider buying. Buy cheap, buy twice is my view when choosing tools. All that said you can find most of the stuff your everyday Joe/Jo will be looking for. The prices are pretty decent for SOME timber sections, electrical, home decorating, and tools. Not so good on plumbing, hardware/fixings and sheet materials. I would say they're probably the best of the bunch in terms of DIY supermarkets, but builder's merchant's are far better if you're planning a sizeable project.

Well managed during the pandemic. Hand sanitizer station as you enter, walkways well marked. Shame their website shows stock that they dont have in stock. Staff pleasant and wearing ppe
