My husband offered to buy me a ring for my 50th birthday. I wanted a simple solitaire to go with my existing wedding ring and just couldn't see anything exactly right on the high street, so I went to see Chris. From the first appointment to receiving the designs and then getting my ring, the service was exceptional. At no point did I feel under pressure. Chris is an excellent listener which is why I ended up with a ring that is just perfect for me. I chose a lab grown diamond and have been really impressed with it's quality and appearance, it is so clear and sparkly. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

My mother has commissioned a couple of rings from Chris so when it came to designing my 'push present' there was only one place to go. Chris added a whole level of personalisation and excitement to the ring design by saying to me in the first meeting, \I really want to elevate this ring for you and make it special\ which led me to do some research about the date that my daughter was born on the Chinese zodiac as she was the first baby born in Hong Kong in a public hospital on Chinese New Year's Day. It turns out she is a metal rat and her lucky colour is gold so I decided the ring should be rose gold. This additional research prompted by Chris also led to me find out that my daughter's lucky flower is a Lily which by total coincidence is one of her middle names! Anyway, it didn't take Chris long to come up with the perfect design and we even added a discreet small pink diamond to the ring to represent the fact she was born in the first month of the year and she is a girl (I am not usually one for gender stereotypes but when diamonds are involved it's okay - right??). For the final touch of personalisation, my husband contacted Chris to arrange to have an inscription written inside the ring - a message to our daughter which read: Brave Heart, Fierce Mind, Free Spirit and the date of her birth. One day the ring will belong to her. This was all done virtually with Chris in Harrogate and me in Hong Kong and Chris organised to have it Fedex'd to me. I am so happy with my ring and have lots of lovely compliments about it and spend a lot of time looking at how it sparkles and reflecting on what the ring signifies to me.
