A truly excellent bacon roll! Several thick slices of perfectly cooked bacon in a seeded roll with tomato sauce. Together with a mug of tea this was a restorative snack during a very cold bicycle ride. There is some sheltered outdoor seating that keeps you out of most of the icy blast or you can sit inside if you're alone or from one household. There were some nice looking cakes though we refrained from indulging ourselves...

Called in after a walk round the Reservoir. Had a cup of tea and a delicious piece of Victoria sponge cake. Great value, very pleasant staff, will definitely call again.
Super friendly and great quality local meats. Cafe does awesome sausage sandwiches too.
Great simple food at really reasonable prices. Lee makes his own pork pies and steak pies, fresh from the oven each day. Delicious! One of these with peas or beans 3.50. All day breakfasts with their own sausage and bacon . Home made fruit pies and crumbles, cakes etc. I’ve always enjoyed going there. Bought meat and veg from the farm shop , best braising steak ever.
