Can anyone tell me why it takes the mail so long to reach the resident,very disappointed that birthday cards arrived to late after being kept at reception .

Visited my Mother over two days, who is a resident suffering from Alzheimer Dementia. Not as bad I thought but still worrying, however the staff are kind, gentle and thoughtful. The accommodation is excellent, the food varied and above all else my Mother is content and happy.
