I worked as an assistant at the Harrogate Kumon centre for over two years. The progress many of the children made in my time there has been unbelievable. Growing in skill and confidence, the Kumon method allows students to work through daily booklets at a rate which is best suited to their ability, making it a program tailored to them. Homework is recorded at every class allowing us to see how they have progressed together with areas they need to work on. Kumon aims to provide children with independence but there is always help available as required.

Kumon, Harrogate is an excellently run centre. Cate, the Kumon instructor, is very awareof seeing children as individuals and adapts to their needs with care and consideration.
