Decided to get a take out orchid for a birthday, normally we visit a few times a year for special occasions. The food it's self was presented well and delicious as always, kept warm and tasted incredible. Reason I haven't given 5 star, potentially portion size for take out was less, difficult to tell but I felt short changed. Also considering you're not getting the atmosphere that is the orchid I think the take out prices are high. Understand they are probably not making the money on the alcohol but still. Either way I'll be back because the foods outragouesly good!

Just a word sums up this place, wow.,!!!!! Great tasty food and aside variety of dishes available so the taste buds will be watering. Pleasent surrounding to have your meal. The staff are very helpful and polite

not quite what we had in mind, decor and little plain and dark, not the romance we like. were hoping the food would make up for it, but alas not so. it was good, not fantastic. the tempura prawn starter was delicious, but dipping sauce underwhelming, both mains were roaring hot...so good if you like spicy food...the dessert the best bit, a pastry custard tart. We liked it, but won't be rushing back

Love this place. Food is fantastic. Restaurant can be noisy and tables are quite close together. Excellent private room upstairs. Strange sitting times. Try the Bang bang chicken and the Massaman curry.

Visited The Orchid restaurant as a surprise for my husbands 50th birthday. The staff helping organise prior to arrival, and on the evening could not have been more helpful. We where lucky to dine in the private room, where we where served the most amazing food with the best service. A great experience.
