As a parent I have been absolutely delighted at how Ollie and his team have created a challenging, encouraging and empowering environment for every individual. As a woman who grew up doing martial arts, I was watching especially for how the trainers engaged with the girls of the group. Ollie and his team are absolutely fantastic. They foster an environment of equality, and are excellent at making all children feel strong, capable and utilised for their skills. Girls are called on equally to answer, teach and demonstrate based on their strengths and therefore the mutual respect fostered between the students is apparent regardless of gender. It has been a joy to watch all the children improve week on week under the encouragement, correction and and teaching of the team.

My son loves the classes here and I love seeing him develop! We've seen a massive difference in his confidence and social skills since training here. The staff are excellent and really care about the kids learning. Not only the physical skills but they have a big emphasis on character development too We love it!

My son was expertly trained in another martial arts establishment but was looking to gain further martial arts experience in a different discipline. Somehow BOTH of us agreed to taking advantage of the trial classes. I was absolutely terrified as I watched the other class members arrive! Once class started those fears were soon put to rest as I became absorbed in the training. Ollie and the members were welcoming and the support they give each other was evident as they shared technique tips. I would never have anticipated walking out of the session feeling as motivated and comfortable (but well exercised!) as I did. Even after the session Ollie spent a lot of time talking through our training options and giving advise - even a bit of maths tutoring!! I’m no spring chicken but I would highly recommend Premier Martial Arts to a similar cohort to myself. I’m looking forward to developing my fitness, my confidence and self defence skills! Oh and my son really enjoyed it too!
