Rice is without a doubt, the best Chinese takeaway in Harrogate. The food is always delicious and hot. The portions are generous and for the quality, the price is very fair. Highly recommend ordering from here.

Really enjoyed the food. The shredded chicken was lovely and the curry. Free prawn crackers are always a bonus. Inside the takeaway building was freezing however and the staff didn’t even acknowledge me even though I was the only person in there. Hard to get there attention.

I thought I would try Rice out for the first time. I ordered on the website and was told to expect a 45 minute wait (on a Tuesday at 6.15pm). As soon as I submitted the order I got a text to say it would be 20 minutes late. It arrived a further 10 minutes late on top of that and it was cold. I tried to reheat the salt and pepper prawns but they were stodgy and inedible. The rest of the meal was disappointing. I will not be ordering from here again
Clean, bright place, standard Chinese fare, large portions, reasonable prices. Pleasant staff. Would use again.
