Went on a last-minute decision at 8.20pm to try it on Tastecard after going to the cinema on a Wednesday. Although it is December, very surprised to find it packed with a great buzzing and relaxed atmosphere, with a good cross-section of people, some just drinking and the majority enjoying their food. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful and unphased that we had not pre-booked. We waited no more than 10 minutes at the bar for a table. Had a jug of mulled Sangria (smooth and delicious) for 13.95 and we enjoyed a starter and main course that were both tasty and filling. All round, a great local watering hole that offers good food, a good atmosphere and is smoothly operated.
