We popped into the Sandwich Box most mornings during our stay in the area to load up on food for the day's walk. Each time I left with a smile on my face and some amusing pointers to help me understand Yorkshire a little better. Oh yeah, and the food was great! Mrs loved the prawn sandwich, and I was over the moon for the Yorkshire Blue & Red. Boys were a little more varied in their tastes, but the ham and tuna sandwiches were both popular. Covid-PS - Yes, indeed, wear that mask of yours!

Fantastic food, great prices. I had the blue cheese burger and it was gorgeous. Really lovely couple who own it. Very welcoming and really outgoing and a cracking sense of humour. Highly reccomend
Small place that packs a punch with great customer service from Andrew and Pat The Fat Boy sandwich was so good with quality locally sourced meat. It was packed with a sausage style pattie, black pudding, eggs the works and a very tasty breadcake. Next time I visit PB I will be definitely trying more things from the menu. The coffee was awesome too :)
