I was here for over 6 years. Very surprised to see it go! Wish we were told it was closing ––.didn't see any notice for members until I arrived at the door at 6:30AM to start training, a day after New Year's. Overall good gym, had all you needed to hit your goals. Not too busy, good staff. Nice steam room. Leaky ceilings and buckets in the weights area didn't bother me too much.

Its with a Heavy Heart to write this today but unoffically Fitz Gym Harrow, is closing down and being turned into a business property. Ive been a member for over 3 years. Ive been to Golds Gym and Fitness First in Harrow and by far Fitz Gym staff are the most friendliest and helpful staff by far. It is a smaller gym compared to Golds Gym but much better than Fitness First now (Good Gym). It was brillant for getting a workout done in under 2 hours due to it being quiet after Mondays!! However the good old adventures in Fitz Gym are no over after my last session today and with a heavy heart look for a New Gym!! I wish all the Staff the best in their New Adventures in 2019!! Fitz it was short but sweet, Goodbye Fitz Gym.
Was once a lovely gym however in recent times it has fallen in standard. - classes have been almost entirely cut - cleanliness is an issue (machines often dirty, seimming pool water cloudy, changing rooms floor dirty) - clocks remaining in BST timing for over a month after moving to GMT - depending on who you are you will either like or hate that the gym is almost always half empty. (This is during peak times)
I was first a member here through corporate membership with my old company for 8 years and only left due to getting a job in another area. I joined again as I still live in Harrow. The staff are always friendly and it's clean with plenty of choice of equipment and a huge variety of classes. My main reason for loving it here so much is the pool, it's not huge but is amazing. Can get a little frustrating when really busy as not everyone has great pool etiquette and I do feel that having 20 people in the aqua aerobics classes is FAR too many for an 11x5m pool which is why I have stopped going to these and have reduced my rating to 4 stars.
This gym is really good value for money. My only issue is hygiene, it really puts me off when it's not clean. I am aware it's the other gym users that's the cause and I guess there's not much the gym can do about them.
I feel like you get a mix bag when it comes to customer service here. I initially joined with two individuals who took time to explain the membership and were generally nice. Not sure who got the new manager hired during Christmas but the chap was rude. He decided to change services around by charging additional fees for swimming when initially it was part of the membership. They think they sound logical and smart when they explain their pricing but seriously come across impolite and offensive. I think they need to vet their people, rethink their pricing and attitude towards customers. Pay less and go to the gym in harrow instead.

Machines better than in Golds Gym in Harrow but entire facility is very tired. Try elsewhere. Poor levels of cleanliness.
