I can respect the history but everything there is so rough, not well maintained. The only good half pipe is messed up too. Get soft wheels if you go. Yeah

Iconic skate park, great graffiti walls some cool features you won't see at modern skateparks like moguls, and pool bowls.

An incredible survivor from the 70s, 'Solid surf' is a concrete paradise. The Council fellas came and actually removed leaves from the bowls as I was visiting. Hopefully that reverence for this Skate heritage site persists. Losing it would be a national tragedy for the sport. You can get a Free three-hour parking ticket to visit so there's no excuse not to if you can get there!

Gets three stars due to the obvious historical aspect but is badly in need of a facelift. A new mini ramp and half pipe and some maintenance on the bowls and transitions would transform the place though the old school vibe should be preserved.
