We had the misfortune of using Oliver Ross to undertake some building and decorating work for us. It was a huge mistake to have used him. Oliver presents well and comes across as being really easy going and friendly. Within moments of meeting him he'll regale you with so many tales about his life and his home in Ireland, all of which endear him to you and which is really quite disarming. Unfortunately, much of that is an act. He is lazy and works very slowly and doesn't always tell the truth. For example, he would tell us that he had been on site and charge us for a day's work when we knew he had turned up mid morning and left less than an hour later. The quality of his workmanship is also quite poor. He is prepared to cut corners and the calibre of some of the subcontractors that he works with is seriously below par. We would never ever recommend him to anyone.
