Yesterday, as we walked out of Checkers Hartbeespoorts' door, the security man was busy closing the glass door. A boy came running to him pleading to enter, he is writing his math exam an he just needs to pop in and buy a calculator. To my shock the security refused him!!!!! Speechless and disgusted!! He just needed a calculator for an exam! Where is this guys humanity??

Good Checkers at the decent sized Village Mall shopping centre in Brits. The store is neat and clean and the staff are friendly. I feel that they could have been better stocked on some of the items. There is free open parking available outside.

Not enough tellers. Long queues to pay. Waste of time. Pick n pay doesn't have this problem.

On 1 January 2020 the 1st thing that greeted me when entering the store was the Fruit & Feb worker/Manager without any shoes on. This was utterly disgusting. A manager was also not to be found to ask how they can allow someone to work barefoot. This store is a total led down, it's in need of a serious upgrade.

Your service is Poor!!!Staff do not know there products and not willing to help!!To busy talking to there friends. The cashiers think they do you a favour!! 95% of them are unfriendly.!!! I did report my complains on 2 separate occasions to the Manager at the office,but still no improvement!!! There are more unhappy customers I do know off!!!
