Dropped by for an impromptu lunch. Kitchen was about to close but they happily took our order. Delicious food, great pint of Harvey's (and others! ) all reasonably priced, served up efficiently by very pleasant staff. Thank you all!

Such a nice place! Beautiful cottage and they are taking the new measurements serious which is great! If your in the neighborhood would definitely recommend going. Take a good appetite with you becuase they have big portions!
Set in the Ashdown forest, this pub is in such a lovely location. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is well cooked and tasty. Generous portions too! Our drinks were served exactly how we like them. I thoroughly recommend visiting this pub.
Took My Disabled brother and partner out for Lunch Very freindly and helpful staff made to feel very welcome and felt very safe. Gorgeous and tasty Lunch in Beautiful and Picturesque Setting. 100% satisfaction on all aspects
