An unexpected and very nice discovery. We walked the most difficult part of the Hartland Quay to Clovelly coastal path – and were quite tired. Suddenly, a little green café emerged. A nice lady was very friendly. She provided us with coffee, tea, and above all - real diary ice cream. Who would expect it? The kiosk is the only place of refreshment on the 17km long and challenging walk. Very good.

Bit of a hidden treasure, pay to get there, area for parking, small tea shop with a good selection of food, pleasant staff, great walk and incredible views. Lots of work and repairs going on, which is reassuring and nice to see that the work is being done. Such a pretty lighthouse, and seeing some seals was another bonus.

Fabulous place just off the beaten track and seeming in the middle of nowhere when we drove to it. It does cost a couple of pound to park but the walks and views are stunning. Be sure to have an ice cream, cake or cream tea from the friendly and very welcoming staff in the hut on the site. You also may have a glimpse of the odd Alpacha knocking around. Highly recommended.

Lovely landscape. The land owner charges 2.50 per car. There's a cafe. BUT no toilet facilities. Even if you have an illness like Crohn's disease... The views are stunning and there are quite a few butterfly species (wall brown, common blue, red admiral, small tortoiseshell).

Made a walk based on here as the destination. Got there and it's closed! Middle of the summer, height of tourist season, nothing to say closed on the website. Even locals were surprised. Absolute waste of time and effort. Don't bother.

Awesome location for hikers of the coastal path. Had a good cream tea and a few different cakes/bars for take away :)

One of many good viewpoints on the S.W. Coast path and the nearest point to Lundy Island. Not much there except the heliport, view of Lundy and fresh air. No public access to the lighthouse. If going by car it's best to park at the National Trust parking area (takes about a dozen cars) then walk up to the point.
