Coming from a long line of fishmongers in London, I truly did not believe that I would ever find such fresh Cornish fish, of 'restaurant' quality, at markets in Somerset. You just cannot buy fish like this in London these days, unless you go to extremely expensive restaurants, but even then those lofty establishments might not be able to match the quality that Harts never fail to offer: fresh turbot, brill, monkfish, Cornish squid, Cornish skate and so on. The quality is truly amazing and far superior to the dated rubbish on offer in supermarkets. In short, if you like fish, do not hesitate to buy from Harts. Trust me, from an old fishmonger's grandson, this is worth every penny, is so fresh it almost winks at you and is absolutely not to be missed.
