The museum was in a convenient location by foot, anywhere in Boston when taking the T. I felt annoyed that there was no monetary break for a veteran-priced ticket. Nonetheless, still worth the admission to go and see all of the riches that the Harvard alumni have donated!
As much as I am not an art critic myself, gotta say I really liked visiting this museum. Prices are low and the place looks amazing. Plus a lot of good art to see. Recommending.
Van Gogh, Ingres, Picasso, Otto Dix, Greek classical period terracotta pottery, Etruscan art, masterpieces in the most important university museum in the United States. The space was completely remodeled by Renzo Piano. #arthistorian @arthistory
Such a peaceful and beautiful museum. Has a wide array of art on every floor and a really cool gift shop! Also, I don't recommend wearing heels since it's very quiet!
Great place. If you are in the area worth to stop by and explore the art exhibits. There is an entrance fee of 20 for the general public. Not sure of there is a student or senior discount. They also have lockers to store your items. Museum is a good size but u can get thru in couple of hours depending on how much of an art fan u are !
Excellent museum designed by Renzo Piano! Atrium is worth a visit!
The new building is absolutely stunning. The Museum itself is a major teaching Museum. It has works from virtually all civilizations throughout history. Some of the paintings are iconic and everyone will recognize them. Others I haven't seen before. This may be a teaching Museum, but it's actually quite large. Make sure you will allot 1 to 3 hours to see it.
