Good for kids

I loved it. It is run by volunteers and they are supper helpful. They follow social distancing in covid times. You can easily spend 1-2 hours here.
I've been visiting here since the early 90's, before it was open to the public, never thought it would be opened to the public the state it was in, the guys in charge there have done an amazing job in clearing it out and making it accessible, will definitely be back again, a must visit if you're into these places, massive thumbs up from me !!!
Visited with a 12 and 14 year old and we all absolutely loved it. The information they supply you was enough to spark their imagination and engagement. And the volunteers are fantastic, extremely knowledgeable. Definitely well worth a visit.
Very interesting site. You can explore most of the buildings, underground tunnels and rooms. One of the volunteers who is helping to renovate the site gave us some really good insight and information on the place past and present. It is free to look around but they do have a box for leaving a contribution if you want to. I definitely recommend visiting this site, and I will go back next year to see what else has been uncovered.
