Lot of harmony and art of living in peace with your land, feeling love and respect to own home being part of nature. No pictures allowed inside the house explains the respect of a privacy, feeling of the master's presence, as he's just left for a while for a walk and will come back very soon.

Great place to see how Manrique lived in his latter years. Shame we couldn't take photos inside the house (even if it was without flash) because it truly was wonderful inside. His workshop was a must see too, left in the same condition as he left it in 1992.

Not bad, I mean i’d live here... for sure. The visit it ok... but unless you are into him, you won’t find it fun. Also, no pics inside really sucks... hence only 3 stars

This is the house where the famous artist Cesar Manrique lived until his death, maybe the most beautiful of his houses.

Closed due to "covid" restrictions, which neither are obliged neither imposed, and numbers on Lanzarote and Canárias os minimal....really sad...

Very informative, beautiful peaceful setting, worth going for views but also to see why Lanzarote has stayed a unique island.

As someone that has a real interest in the special work and achievements of Cesar I found his house fascinating. I love how it has been curated and left just as he finally, most sadly and unexpectedly left it. I found it all quite moving, but a great tribute to an amazing man. It is of special and particular importance and interest to those interested in art and or of Cesar Manrique.
