Big, nice and fresh... But to have to pay for toilet takes down 5 stats to only 4... Beige from Sweden where they never charge for toilet visits it felt wierd... First to pay for tickets and then spend 20 euros on sodas and snacks... 50 cent aint much but feels that i have paid enough for My visit :)

The Kinepolis in Hasselt is a good movie theatre that has a lot of parking space and places to eat. I must say that the pricing went through the roof in the last years. If you take a snack and drink, a simple visit to the theatre will cost you about 25eur per person, which is imho too much.
I really don't like this cinema. I used to come here a lot but that has changed much since my childhood. I'm trying to think of positive things to say about this place but I can't even come up with one. So I'm just gonna post a short summary of the things I really dislike about this place. 1. The prices are steep. (you can tell that their business goal is to make as much money as possible and not to bring entertainment to the masses.) 2. They are not very customer friendly. I can't remember the last time I saw an employee working here with a smile on his/her face. 3. Even though the prices are steep and they make a decent amount of money on you as a customer, you still have to pay to go to the restroom. 4. You can't choose where you sit if you enter the cinema first. This spot is reserved by people who booked their ticket sometimes hours before online or through a terminal. 5. Ow yeah there is one positive thing I can say about this cinema. The hygiene is up to standard and overall it's very clean. Yours sincerely, an ex-customer
The price is very expensive. 2d is 11 and something while at other places it is 8. A bootle of coca cola and m&m's is around 10. I would say that is a ripoff but the movie quality is good.
Now that Kinepolis offers IMAX and 4DX experiences it is really one of the best cinemas in the whole region. 4DX especially is quite cool. The motion of the chairs is way more immersive then I expected and the added air and water effects make it even more fun. Sure it's a gimmick and it adds little to the quality of the movie, but it is a fun extra. The snacks bar is quite large with many choices, although the prices are high. But that's true of nay cinema sadly. The service is always very good, and you can get in pretty fast with online tickets. The downside is that they funnel you through the snacks bar, so you might have to wait in line even if you don't want to buy any snacks. So they put sales above convenience. The only major downside is the small number of toilets. After the movie large waiting lines build up at the toilets, which can get quite frustrating.
Finally went back after a long time. still feels like home.
A good place to be. But really overprices, like all theaters these days. The pricing is the point deduction.
