Real homemade italian food
like
This place is real Italian home style cooking run by an Italian couple who can be seen preparing each dish in the open style kitchen. The food is really authentic and the prices are very reasonable.
Cosy family feel to the restaurant. In true Italian style. Lovely Pizza and grilled scamp's. Timely service for a Saturday evening. Lovely to be back again.
Authentic Italian food in a good quality, nice service and really good located in the central of the city. Will definitely come back!
I love it, you have to discover it on your own .. it is not that easy to get there .. but once you are there, you will be happy enjoying italian pizza made by real italians .. pro tip: order vegetarian, it is amazing ;)
It's not that it's so difficult to find, but you have to know that the entrance is down the hall and up the stairs on the first floor :) Once inside you immediately feel like you're immersed in a giant Italian bubble. The hostess isn't the fastest but very friendly and brings the most delicious dishes to your table.. The pizza Tonno I had was very tasty and I almost couldn't finish it.. that big! Definitely drop by if you get the chance..
pizza was great and traditional but waiting time is a price to pay
Worst Hell Hole This must be about the single most horrendous restaurant experience I have had in a very long time. The staff does not speak any language except Italian. Not that this ought to be an issue, but it is if they get every order wrong. Add to that a 1.5 hour waiting time for food to arrive... And then the food ... the pizza was so bad I sent mine back and declined them making a new one (honestly, after waiting for 90 minutes I expected that at least the food would be edible). The kids did not even want to eat their pizza, so they were sent back too. And the pasta was so overcooked it had half turned to starch. Avoid at all cost - this place should be reported to the health and safety inspection. Interestingly I noticed the restaurant ‘replied’ to my review with a suite of lies. So let’s expose the liars. I was with a group of 20 family members and my mother was paying as it was in celebration of her birthday, so I hardly walked out without paying (first lie). They were very rude from the start and after a near two hour wait for bad food nobody wanted another two hour wait (second lie). Nobody in our family enjoyed the meal and nobody has returned since, and nobody apologised, we only talked afterwards about how bad it was (third lie). Two of my children had pasta and I tried it, so that’s the fourth lie. Instead of putting energy in making up fake replies making up fake facts some energy may be invested in: making edible food? Getting more staff? Staff that speaks the local language (Vlaams) or English? Basic manners? A kitchen that looks vaguely hygienic? Just a thought ...
