Scenic point with convenient car park with plenty of space, maybe around 50 spaces. Great access to the South Downs Way, a popular route for cyclists and pedestrians. Came here around midday on a Saturday and was busy but with few spots available, doesn't look like people tend to stay long. Didn't enter the windmill, so can't comment, but looks free to enter. Mill lane was quite narrow with a few passing places.

Lovely walk up here with the family. The views from both sides are unreal, the Brighton coast one side and mid Sussex and north downs the other. Plenty of different routes to take for a walk. Dog friendly area.

What ever the weather it’s a fantastic place to visit.. especially when Jill Windmill is open to the public and you can see it in action. Stunning views and peaceful location.

A great place to park and gain access to the South downs way and many other great walks along the downs, including one to the Chattri memorial. There are some amazing views north from here of the towns and villages right up to the north downs. The windmills do not have public access but are a great sight up on the hill. The free car park here is a decent size but can get full at holiday times and take care on the narrow road to the Windmills as it is single lane and only has a few passing places.

The Jack and Jill Windmills are a great day out. A fun trip to see the windmills in their own right, but you can also head out on a few circular walks from the car park. There are great views if the weather is kind and a lot of well trodden footpaths to explore, but I recommend trying this on a week day to avoid the weekend rush.

Discovered this place just by chance while I was in the area. Needed to get out in fresh air after whole day of driving. The small country road leading to Windmill is very narrow but the car park is pretty decent in with plenty of spaces. I left the car and walked up the hill on dirt track as the tarmac ends near car park. Needles to say it gets very windy up there but the views all around are totally worth it.
