If you are happy paying the fee, it is a lovely area to go to. Middle Farm nr Lewes is cheaper and has a farm shop... depends on what you are after. Not too busy, which was nice.

Hidden gem. Always relatively quiet and peaceful. Great for the kids. Don't miss the fish pond.

Camped for 2 nights with a few friends. Well run, good value basic campsite with toilets & washing up basins, but no showers. Simple site with fire pits & logs for purchase. Feels a million miles away from Brighton, but only a short walk to the pub in Ditchling.
