Today I had to call in to talk about my benefits since I have 2 type of coverages. I got Tina and she was wonderful. She took the time to make sure I understood everything and didn't just try to get me off the phone. She is a huge asset to your company. Hopefully she is acknowledge for the great service she provide to me. You don't get this type of service very often.

Our whole family goes to AEP and I've been very happy with the care we receive. The doctors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We had an urgent eye concern and they got us right in to take care of things. I also have computer glasses from them and LOVE them! No more headaches when on the computer anymore! I highly recommend AEP to all my family and friends.

I had my first eye exam yesterday with Dr Declarke. I have been searching for a few years and finally settled for a local but was just not happy. My friend told me about Hastings Advanced Eye Care and how much she loved her eye dr. So I called - For the first time EVER i am able to do my computer work without reading glasses or squinting. My contacts fit perfect - the old ones would rip and get lost in my eye and even though i would complain nothing was done. I was also able to pick the glasses of my choice (I have a strong prescription), I am so happy with my visit. No one reminded me that my eye sight is bad as in the past - Dr Declarke did her thing and made a new way for this old lady. Thank you so much!!!!!

Well!?, not EVERYONE there was rude; but my 1st visit here is my last. I've only been in Hastings a little over a year ; so I'm getting new Family Dr. Dentist, Eyes, etc. Established & it took months to get in because of Covid! Then comes time for my appt Nov 20th. I sat down after I was dialated & my exam was done, only to pretty much be humiliated over having Medicare & Medicaid(straight) & that i cannot pay the difference for transitional lenses? but? I did when i lived in Grand Rapids & since moving to Barry County i lost priority Health & now have straight Medicaid , not Priority Health Medicaid, so I'm totally confused , but hurt on how i was treated, after me almost begging to pay the difference, but nope can't do that because I have Medicaid?? My son did the same exact thing for my grandkids who have medicaid, he picked out the allowed frames and they told him any extras would have to be paid out of pocket!! After almost begging to pay the difference & being humiliated I was then given the other option to pay 450 out of pocket for the glasses!! So I left with no glasses & I also had to call my son to come & get me because i couldn't see to drive. They didn't offer to give me anything to cover my eyes. So when I went outside I was blinded! So my 1st experience was not good. ALSO, I went here because my sons visit with my grandchildren was incredibly GR8, so that made me be comfortable to try them in the 1st place, but now it's looking like I'm headed back to GR for my Eye Dr & glasses
