I always like going to Debenhams, everyone is really friendly and helpful. Really pleased they are staying and I always enjoy going to the Coffee shop. There are some real bargains to be found as well. Recommended.

Sadly, Debenhams isn't the store it used to be. Very little choice, even fewer staff to offer assistance. It just looks grubby, run down and ready to close down. It optimistically is still selling gift vouchers which I highly doubt will ever be used, simple due to the lacking of choice. This genuinely saddens me as for so many years has been my "go to" store of choice.
Good value for money
Lovely clothes but not such a good store as it used to be. It's a shame they haven't re- opened the cafe as it's a lovely view and quite a large space so would be fairly easy to safely distance tables
Understaffed. Wanted to buy suit for my son. No one around to help. Whilst there was a pretty good selection a high number of suits were on the wrong hangers for the sizes stated. Couldn't find the right trousers to go with the suit jacket. End result, no suit purchase and a missed opportunity for the store. The suit section felt neglected and uncared for. Such a shame as this used be such a good store. I appreciate the business is in difficulty but it needs attention from the management team.
Very nice building ceiling tiles could do with a little bit of dusting off only three stars because the nice Otis lift was decommissioned several years ago I suggest that the store manager asks for funding to reinstate the Otis lift with its original features
A jewel in the crown. It's reliable and its staff are normally awesome.
I never thought I could afford it, I was wrong. Depending on what you buy its cheaper than M&S, and different from the norm. Primache (primark) is where you go for basics, something different from the normal is Debenhams.
