Nikki is a wonderful teacher. I was new to singing and lessons, but we instantly clicked. She really helped to put me at ease, making the lessons an enjoyable and fun experience – something I really look forward to each week. I would highly recommend Nikki as a vocal coach for anyone keen to learn or progress their vocal skills for both personal development or professional reasons.

Being relatively new to singing and lacking confidence, Nikki has been the perfect person to bring me out from under my shell. Her knowledge is supported by her extensive experience, empathy and the faith she's held in my capabilities. She has truly made an impact to my singing and I couldn't recommend her enough!
I initially approached Nikki as I wanted to gain an ability to sing. As an actor who considered himself unable to sing a note without upsetting the local cats, I've watched as many many musical theatre auditions disappeared in front of me. To say I was initially nervous about attempting to sing in front of anyone is somewhat of an understatement. Nikki was absolutely brilliant at putting me at my ease though, and gave me what felt like a 'safe space' to express myself vocally in. Add to this how brilliant technically Nikki is - without waxing too lyrical here, she really knows her stuff! And (rather cleverly) used my own language (one of monologues and acting references) to convoy ideas and concepts within singing. She even goes so far as to learn the way I describe things and uses that same language back to me so I don't get bogged down with technical phrases and jargon. The basic upshot here is that, although I've still got a way to go, I no longer say I can't sing, I'm no longer shy about bursting into song (I spontaneously gave a song to my agent recently, who is now more than happy to put me in for musical theatre auditions!). And most importantly, I've learned to love singing! All down to this amazing teacher! Thank you Nikki. :-)

Every session I have had she has put me at ease, helped me with my shyness when it comes to singing and has taught me some valuable techniques. Nikki is a highly experienced, dynamic, sensitive and supportive singing coach. She has coached cast members of mine for shows which has always hugely enhanced actors and singers confidence levels. Highly recommend for all levels.
