Beautiful place! Lots of well maintained trails and easy parking. We visited with our toddler, who loved the natural playground area and the story book walk. Disappointed that the bathrooms do NOT have a diaper changing table, had to use a bench in the lobby which was not fun. Add one and it will be a 5 star place for sure!

So beautiful and peaceful here! With over 12 trails, you can choose between forest, wetland, and prairie trails. Most of the trails here are under a mile, but some trails are out of the way and can only be reached by taking others, which can add up in mileage. If you're a somewhat more experienced hiker, try the Beech Maple Ridge Trail which is absolutely stunning! If you're hiking with your little ones, take the Black Walnut Trail, it's short and filled with facts along the way so your kids will develop a deep respect and passion for nature as much as you do.

PCCI is beautiful. The trails are always well maintained and there are a variety of biomes to experience. Lake, swamp, forest, and prairie! It is a great place to find biodiversity and interact with the natural world.
