I am so glad we chose Sarah to photograph our daughter's wedding and would not hesitate to recommend her, she is so enthusiastic and passionate about her work and immediately puts you at ease. She listened to our ideas and requests and took all the special pictures we asked for but we got so much more. We were unaware of many of the pictures being taken and therefore they looked natural and not staged, she must have had eyes everywhere. Every emotion throughout the day was captured. Within 24 hours of the day, we had received a taster online of some of the pictures she had taken and a few days later a lovely little sideshow set to music. On receiving our complete online gallery many happy tears were shed reliving the day again. Such a good job we do not have to choose a selection of pictures as we would not know where to start. Sarah Rook is the most talented photographer that we have ever had the privilege of meeting, and I have met so many in my line of work as a musician. After looking at her gallery online, there was no doubt in our minds that her work was inspired and with such an eye for detail and mood. Sarah was booked to take our wedding pictures. We got married this August, just us, no guests and Sarah and her son Dale, took incredibly emotional, heartfelt and stunningly atmospheric and beautiful pictures of our day. From registry office to beach, then to sunset on Mermaid Street, Rye, Sarah and Dale have given us memories to last a lifetime. They say your Wedding Day should be the most perfect day of your life so obviously you would want the most perfect photographic memories of that day. Well Sarah went way beyond perfect. Every single photo she took was full of joy. Sarah earned every single penny that day. She gave us some beautifully artistic and creative photos, some lovely formal shots and hundreds of fun, joyful photos. Nothing and no-one was missed. The collage set to music makes us cry happy tears every time we watch it. The on line gallery just blew us away and was very easy to access for our guests. We never realized just how much happiness you could capture in a photo. This evening we got the ultimate Wedding keep sake. The most beautiful presentation box (the classiest thing I have ever seen), beautifully personalized and containing a selection of top quality prints and a very very sexy glass USB data key. Sarah was so helpful right from our first meeting. She was keen to know and understand exactly what we wanted and expected from her on the day. She was happy to discuss all ideas and boy, did she deliver! Our guests loved her as she was fun, friendly and approachable. She was not snippy about our guests taking photos. And to be honest, apart from when she was directly in front of us taking shots, we barely knew she was there. She just blended in, snapping away, capturing every lovely moment. Apart from a few formal shots (which we had requested), all the other photos are just totally natural and un-posed. She just captured people in the moment. Sarah was a dream to work with, considerate, dedicated and very flexible with her time. We would not hesitate to recommend Sarah to anyone who just wants wonderful photos full of beautiful memories which will last a life time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Sarah. We had the privilege of having Sarah being part of our wedding day to capture every magical moment! There are no words to say to you as to how perfect our wedding photos were!
