Lovely experience. I've been wanting to try out Sham City Roasters for about two years now. It did not disappoint and it was most certainly worth the wait. Really friendly people run the cafe and the food is delicious. We tried the lotus biscuit doughnut from Deadbeat Doughnuts, sham city lemon and raspberry cake (which was a massive slab), a grilled cheese sandwich and Philly Cheesesteak. We will visit again and thank you for all the local vegan recommendations

All-vegan cafe with lots of gluten free options (grilled cheese sandwiches, doughnuts and brownies). I had delicious curried soup with bread! The surroundings are unique, with mannequins, plants and props from the store that this cafe can be found at the back of. A hidden gem!

Had a takeaway breakfast muffin from here today - it was delicious! It's so nice to be able to get proper vegan food in Hastings. At 6, it was great value and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. My dog got a lovely cuddle from the lady who served us, so she'll be as keen to come back as I will! Not much seating but I asked for mine to takeaway and ate it on the beach. Perfect!

I visited here over the weekend with a group of three others, because we’d seen it on Vanilla Bean. It’s a really cute small cafe at the back of a store which was an old grain store I believe! The food is delicious, we had the soup of the day and a toastie for 7 which was amazing value considering the quality. They let you customise the toastie to your preferences and serve vegan products mainly. The cakes and doughnuts were the highlight though, bloody amazing. I’ve never had better.
