This place has amazing customer service I am not the type of person to write reviews. But the treatment at Specsavers Hastings raised the bar. Danny is the person you want to see, she was so kind, professional and knowledgeable about the products and finishes. I cannot neglect to mention Canadian Stephan, he is so funny, yet professional and knows how to interact with all the customers. He was very respectful and gracious while fitting the glasses. While respecting all the covid rules I felt very safe. Today I returned for my contact lens fitting, Danny was a superstar! She treated my mother to VIP treatment, while treating everyone else the same way, which is amazing! Very efficient at seeing what you need and fulfilling the need seamlessly. I am so impressed with the high calibre of staff. The contact lens department was also on another level, Alex is so kind, thoughtful go above and beyond to make sure you know what you are doing. The contact lens tutorial is essential and painless considering what could go wrong. I definitely learned valuable things from Alex about removing and inserting my lenses in the best possible way. Preventing unnecessary injury. The contact lens specialist Kevin was very nice overall a very positive experience untainted by covid. Love Specsavers Hastings!

Very good!! Put it this way the eye exam is thorough. I was asked to read the small print from a book. I thought I read it well I actually read the smallest words. It turned out I needed reading glasses now the words jump out at me when I read I was shocked. Very good eye exam and worth paying the extra 10 for the scanner to look at the back of the eyes. 100% good service to the optician Zaman and all the staff there.

Popped in to see (pun intended) if I could book my glasses in for repair. They repaired them while I waited and free of charge. Quick, courteous service. Definitely recommend.

Had an appointment today for my 3 year old who has a different way of processing senses also know as sensory processing differences. We were late by 10 minutes due to her having a meltdown because she didnt like the thought of anyone touching her. We were turned away. That means another 40 45 minute trip back home on foot. The whole way home another complete meltdown because finally we were geared up to go and see the glasses shop and blatently got refused. No consideration or care for a child with needs at all.

Went in to buy a replacement for my broken reading and computer specs. I had planned to get an inexpensive pair, but a helpful and professional staff member managed to get me to spend 368 on 3 pairs. Opted for delivery (5) told it would take up to 2 weeks. Just called as it is 2 weeks today. I was told they were put in the post 6 days ago and they (SpecSavers) were told the specs would take a week and half to get to me. That would mean up to 19 days to get my Specs made in a shop 2 miles away. When signing off the member of staff said ‘Sorry about that! Okay?’ Goodbye’. Am I being unreasonable or is this poor service. I don’t need to be told SpecSavers have no control over the time it takes for the Royal Mail to deliver. This everybody knows. But I would be interested know why SpecSavers unlike most other business are are not using reliable couriers, why an item of post worth nearly 400 was sent standard delivery and why did no one at SpecSavers consider calling to tell me the specs had been posted with a delivery time of a week and half. Just saying.

Great service in Specsavers today. A super friendly team and the optometrist (Max, I believe) went out of his way to explain everything really clearly. Happy 2021!
