This is my favourite fish and chips I think I’ve pretty much ever had. I came here with a friend who lives here. We had this for takeaway. I’ve since been back three times and not only is this fantastic fish and chips, it’s consistently good. The service is always quick and easy. I have had take out and eaten in the restaurant all the other times. I’ve had cod or haddock and chips with curry sauce. The chips are always perfectly hot, soft potato with a slight outer crunch which is excellent. The fish is firm, fresh and the batter crispy and neither too dry or too oily. As a northerner who loves their curry sauce, I’ve never tasted better than this down south. I’ve taken friends here and recommend led to others. It’s the only time I’ve ever finished an entire portion. I can not recommend this place and service too enough.

My friend James are I visited on Sunday August 30th, bank holiday weekend. I wanted to write this review to say a big thank you to the staff who were so, so patient with everyone. They all had smiles on their faces, even though the queues were long and they had problems with their kitchen. A massive thank you to the lovely young lady who was taking peoples orders outside, such a polite and friendly person, you should be commended on your excellent customer service. As for the food, it was delicious, fresh fish and perfectly cooked chips. We ate them on the beach and went home back to London, two happy campers with happy bellies.

Greasy chips. Small portions which wasn’t a problem as I left most of them. Batter really thick on fish and so greasy. If this was how all fish and chips were i can honestly say I’d never have it again. Sorry cod father but it just isn’t good enough, I work hard for my money and feel I just wasted my money.

Bad experience. I order a large fish and chips and been told they don’t have large, instead they offered me to have double small fish. When was time to pay the price wasn’t as the large fish and chips but 4 pounds more. Sorry but was bad service they should tell me before it was going to be more money.
