Has a great selection of craft beer/nicely presented store and nice stuff BUT they they sold out of date beer and blatantly covered up with a sticker with a different best before date which ironically still said the beer was out of date anyway. Bought some gin too (35cl) and they had put permeant marker on the actual retail price and covered it with their own price selling what should be an 8.99 bottle of 35cl Gordon's gin for 10.99 - it seemed this use of covering dates up for out of date alcohol and upmarketing prices was also done for other products which is a shame!

Had a lovely chat with the lady in the shop, what looks like a great selection of beer, come round to drinking them and finding 4 out of 5 bottles are years out of date. Not only that but also a very obvious attempt at covering the dates up by covering with permanent marker and then celo-taping a label ontop naming the style of beer. 2 of the bottles have the dates just scratched out in order for customers to not be able to read it. It’s one thing selling out of date products but to blatantly cover it up is disgusting. See picture below of an example, underneath the label stuck on by Brookmans Wines, underneath the best before date of 2018, bottled in 2017. If I hadn’t of brought them how long would they have sat on the shelves for?
