Far too expensive, both for the entry ticket and especially for anything purchased from traders within the event, i.e. food, drink and merchandise. I attended the Ragley Hall event in 2018 and paid 25 to get in. I checked the ticket price for Hatfield House in July 2019. A few days before it would have been 27 plus booking fee but by the first day of the fair it had shot up to 34.The event is similar to a County Fair but more expensive and not as enjoyable in my opinion. Update - I attended the Hatfield 2019 event after all and regretted it. The whole site was a mud bath. After charging 34 for entry you'd think they could have put down metal flooring,

Enjoyed the event, very broad range of exhibitors, biggest problem I found was poor maps and signage. Enjoyed talks I got too but scale of sight meant I missed a good number as was late/no room.events in the Arena were O.K, being a bit run of the mill, birds of prey being much better than expected. Fair value for money, but previous game fares were better laid out.

Great retail opportunities with good show deals. A shame that the breakfast in the restaurant is for the expensive tickets only (90). But we go every year and always enjoy it. On the whole; a great day out!
