I couldn't recommend The Penn Clinic more! After years of back, neck and shoulder pain with a long standing lower bulging disc, I often get relapses and need treatment 2-3 times a year. Having seen many physiotherapists and osteopaths over the years and recently coming across The Penn Clinic; I am so impressed. They are professional, thorough and go through everything in such detail to get to the route of the problem. After just one visit and treatment with Alex, I have already noticed a huge improvement in my back and arm which were giving me lots of issues and pain. I also got given exercises to do at home which were also sent via email with images to remind me of what they were. Really impressed and I'm looking forward to my second apt. Highly recommend!

The Penn Clinic offers first class treatments and each therapist specialised in something different. I saw Alex who is an expert in looking after post natal ladies, but then we went on to look at one of my legs and I received superb treatment here also. You can't go wrong visiting this friendly and most knowledgeable practice.

Even though I am only on my second visit to the clinic I can honestly say I would recommend 100% to come here. I have a stomach muscle separation along with some other underlying issues going on for about a year now. On the verge of losing all hope I was put in touch with Alex who over a telephone conversation installed confidence and hope that she could assist me in a recovery. I would now say that Alex is a miracle worker with super powers along with vast knowledge, experience combined with professionalism and friendliness. The first visit she took a detailed history on the various ailments followed by some treatment and excercises to do at home. On the second visit a few weeks later Alex had given further thought to my problems in between appointments and worked on connecting issues rather than just the direct problem. A couple of days on I started to feel the best I have felt for many, many months which has given me such a huge boost. I travel from Bedford to Hatfield and it is worth every minute and every mile of the journey . If you are considering getting treated do not hesitate to call this team at the Penn clinic in my estimations they are the best you can find. Marcus (a very satisfied patient)

What can I say? Caroline has treated my 5yr old son. I had never heard of handle therapy and I have to admit I was apprehensive. My son had a tic disorder and anxiety that was overwhelming all the family\u200b. He has gone from as i can only describe as a 'sad' child to one that is beginning to enjoy childhood again. The tics are much less frequent, he is able to cope with daily life. He was unable to go to school without two teachers literally ripping him off me each day, to (I can't believe I'm writing this) going in on his own!! His teachers are gobsmacked, I still can't believe it, but he's doing it on his own, with a smile. He's becoming a confident little boy, and we're slowly meeting all the goals Caroline and my son set together. This is all on my son's terms, and he has complete trust in Caroline. For anyone unsure whether this is right for you. I had a child who literally froze at every situation, we willed him to join in and have fun, but anxiety took over, his tics took control. I have never seen my son smile so much, an absolute joy to see. I cannot recommend Caroline enough, I wish more people knew about handle for children with tic disorders and anxiety in general.
