The building itself needs some updates but it’s a quaint older home. The food is pretty good, the staff gets to partake of the meals for free! Management leaves a lot to be desired, closed door policy! The care coordinator sits in her office with the door locked and answers the phone when she feels like it, I thinks she lacks management experience. Older nurses working there aren’t very ambitious and appear burned out and not friendly at all!! Any new suggestions and your not accepted, very closed minded! It could be a well rounded facility with the right management and some newer nurses.The patients are happy and the care they receive is good. The patients have ample room to roam the halls and visit their friends. They can also take a stroll around the building. The patients are some of the most lovely people I’ve met, while being a nurse.
