South of the site is the largest lowland peat bog nature reserve in the UK, whilst situated south westerly is approximately 100 acres of natural woodland. The resort’s residences will encompass a multi-faceted luxury, boutique 104-bedroom hotel flowing around the edge of the main lake, whilst embracing innovative aquatecture (“architecture on water”) - this including 125 luxurious designer-styled lakeside floating eco lodges. A further 200 lodges will be available as woodlands retreat residences.
