The worst car buying experience for me ever personally. I have 42 emails between myself and LR over this experience and I was also given a lot of assurance from LR verbally prior to buying a vehicle which I do not believe has been honoured. I have also asked for the details of a responsible director so I can write to and share my experience but this has been refused and I have been told to go to the ombudsman . I have also been warned of defamation so I will keep the details to myself - unless LR want to publicly discuss difference of opinion.

Bought a second hand Freelander 2 Metropolis from Hatfields Pickering. Car was presented really well, a few smart repairs needed which were discussed at point of sale. Car was delivered to our home, some smart repairs not done but an email to Charles Shaw resolved this with the work being undertaken locally. I now have a mint low mileage Metropolis at a good price and all the associated LR benefits of buying from a franchised dealer. Very happy with the final service provided.
